Nokia bags Rakuten's optical transport deal for 5G

Finnish gear maker Nokia said that it bagged a deal from Rakuten Mobile which will now deploy the Nokia 1830 Photonic Service Switch to power its reconfigurable photonic mesh mobile backhaul network.
